Cross Border Commissioner

The Victoria Cross Border Commissioner’s (CBC) role is to work with border residents, businesses, and community organisations to identify cross border issues, advocate for change to cross border anomalies, and to capture cross border opportunities in respect of Victoria’s borders. The CBC does not have an operational role during emergency events however can be consulted with, and provide advice on, issues impacting on cross border communities during emergency events and access to neighbouring jurisdictions’ networks.  

Note: The Cross Border Commissioner does not have an operational role during response.

Participate in cross border emergency management exercises.
