State Emergency Management Planning Committee
The State Emergency Management Planning Committee (SEMPC) will meet as an ongoing committee. Meetings are scheduled 3 weeks before the State Crisis and Resilience Committee (SCRC) meetings. This allows for final agency approval prior to the submission of any papers to SCRC.
This schedule doesn't exactly match with Regional Emergency Management Planning Committees (REMPCs) meetings. Which is February, May, August, and November. However, this doesn't prevent REMPCs from fulfilling their legal responsibilities.
Regional Emergency Planning Management Committee
To balance seasonal needs and coordinate memberships across 8 regions, the REMPCs are to meet at least 4 times a year (February, May, August, and November), and schedule extra meetings as required.
Municipal Emergency Management Planning Committee
The schedule for Municipal Emergency Management Planning Committee (MEMPC) meetings is determined by each MEMPC.
