Community-based approach in the Indigo Valley

The Barnawatha fire of December 2015 went for seven days and burnt approximately 6,675 hectares, severely affecting communities along the Indigo Creek Valley into Barnawartha.

The community-based emergency management approach was used in Indigo Valley following to support the community to connect and work together to support the recovery process.
