Victorian Bushfire Appeal launched

A Victorian Bushfire Appeal has been established to provide practical support to Victorians impacted by the state’s devastating fires, including in East Gippsland and North East Victoria.

The Victorian Government has partnered with Bendigo Bank and The Salvation Army to establish the Appeal, with 100% of donated funds going directly to communities in need.

The Appeal is dedicated to providing practical support as impacted Victorians begin to rebuild their lives.

An Advisory Panel, chaired by former Victorian Deputy Premier Pat McNamara, will consider and recommend where the funds are distributed. The appeal provides a formal channel for the public to donate money directly to affected families and communities, by working directly with local communities to inform and drive the distribution of funds.

Donations can be made at any Bendigo Bank branch or online via vic.gov.au/bushfireappeal or Community Enterprise Foundation (External link)™, Bendigo Bank’s charitable arm.

If you live outside of Australia and would like to donate, please email Community Enterprise Foundation™ via foundation.mailbox@bendigoadelaide.com.au (External link).

All donations of $2 or more are tax deductible and donors will be provided with a tax receipt through the Foundation.
