VESEP grants provide boost to emergency services volunteers

11 July 2019

Victoria’s emergency services have once again received a boost via the latest round of Volunteer Emergency Services Equipment Program (VESEP) grants.

The grants are an annual program which provides funding to Victorian emergency services volunteer groups to purchase essential operational equipment, vehicles and appliances and minor facility improvements.

Under the program, the Government matches every $1 paid by volunteer groups with a $2 co-contribution up to $150,000.

The 2018-19 round of grants have provided almost $13.9 million to volunteer organisations across the state in this round of grants.

With the awarding of this year’s round of grants marks the opening of the 2019-20 grants. Visit our VESEP page (External link) for more information.
