Resilient Australia Awards submissions closing soon

You only have until 8 June to share your story of resilience and strength in the face of a disaster, by entering the Resilient Australia Awards 2020. 

If you have contributed to making communities safer, more connected and better prepared for disasters and emergencies, consider making a submission to the awards. 

Individuals, communities and organisations with an initiative, partnership or photograph that shows community resilience in action are encouraged to make a submission. 

The awards are open to all Victorian individuals and organisations, including emergency service personnel and agencies, not-for-profit organisations, large and small businesses, local and state government, schools, education institutions and research bodies.  

In the first stage of judging, Victorian finalists will be awarded in six categories: 

  • business 
  • community 
  • government 
  • local government 
  • schools 
  • photography.

Entries close at 11.59pm AEST on Monday 8 June. 

Applications will be judged at the state and territory level, and the winners will become finalists for the national judging.
